The abdominal line treatment focuses on the slim vertical strip of hair along the linea alba, the natural midline that runs from the navel toward the lower abdomen. The laser light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair and converted into gentle heat, which targets actively growing follicles to slow and refine regrowth. Will the abdominal line hair be gone for good?
No. This is a cosmetic treatment aimed at lasting hair reduction, not at clearing all hair completely or for good. With a course of sessions the hair along the midline usually becomes finer, lighter and slower to return, but results are individual and we do not promise total hair-freedom. Occasional maintenance sessions may be helpful.
How should I prepare and what should I avoid?
Before treatment, avoid sun exposure, tanning beds and self-tanner on the abdomen, and do not wax, pluck or have peels or other light or laser treatments in the area shortly beforehand. The treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with photosensitising medication, or over irritated skin or recent pigment changes. Afterwards, protect the area with SPF and avoid sun, heat, sauna and intense workouts for a couple of days.

How laser hair reduction works
Body hair grows in repeating cycles, and only follicles in their active growth phase respond well to light-based treatment. The laser emits a wavelength absorbed mainly by the melanin pigment in the hair shaft; this energy turns into controlled heat that focuses on the actively growing follicle and gradually weakens its ability to produce coarse hair.
Because only a portion of follicles is in the active phase at any one time, the abdominal line is treated across several spaced sessions to reach more of them as they cycle. The realistic, cosmetic goal is visibly thinner, lighter and slower regrowth — results are individual and complete hair-freedom is not promised.

Treatment is carried out only after an individual suitability check (Eignungsprüfung) and with the required expertise (Fachkunde) under the German NiSV regulation. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with photosensitising medication, after recent sun exposure or self-tanner, or after recent waxing, peels or other light or laser treatments; it is also unsuitable over certain skin or pigment conditions.
