The underarm area is one of the most popular zones for cosmetic laser hair removal, as the skin is delicate and traditional shaving or waxing can cause irritation and ingrown hairs. Our laser sessions target the underarm hair to achieve a visible, lasting reduction over time.
Each session for this small zone takes about 20 min and costs 60 €. Because hair grows in cycles, several sessions spaced over weeks are usually required to address hairs in their active growth phase. Results are individual and depend on hair colour, density and your skin type.
We begin with an individual suitability check (Eignungsprüfung) and perform the treatment with the required expertise as defined by the NiSV. This is a purely cosmetic, non-medical service and does not promise complete hair-freedom.

How should I prepare, and who should avoid it?
Shave the underarms beforehand and avoid sun, self-tanner, waxing, peels and other light or laser treatments in advance. Afterwards, apply SPF and avoid sun and heat. The treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with photosensitising medication, recent sun exposure, or certain skin conditions or pigment changes. Suitability is confirmed at your consultation.

Cosmetic laser hair reduction works by directing light energy toward the pigment in the hair. The energy is absorbed and converted into heat, which targets the hair in its active growth phase (the anagen phase).
Since only a portion of underarm hairs are in this active phase at any one time, a series of sessions is needed to gradually reduce visible regrowth. This is a cosmetic process: it aims at lasting hair reduction, not a medical outcome, and individual results vary.
